2002 theme: Wind & Water
Twenty wells fountains and spouts were decorated this year.
Winner: West Malvern Spout
Runners up (joint): Great Malvern Station and Lower Wyche Spout
Women’s Institute Section: Jubilee Fountain
- Barnards Green Trough Situated on the Guarlford Road near the Hall Green junction
- The Clock Tower A local landmark at the Junction of North Malvern Road & West Malvern Road.
- Earl Beauchamp Fountain A very popular water collection point by the side of Cowleigh Road.
- Evendine Spring One of the most popular water collection points along Jubilee Drive below Black Hill
- THE RUNNER UP (= Lower Wyche) Railway Station Fountain Situated in the wall just outside the main entrance of Great Malvern Railway Station.
- Hay Slad Spout This spout is probably the busiest of all the wells. There is often a queue of people waiting to use it.
- Holy Well A very attractive Well nestling in the hillside off the beaten track. Find it at the highest point of Holywell Road.
- Jacob Fountain A hidden gem. It used to be the center piece of the old Winter Gardens pump room. Since renovations it has been relegated to a corner of the restaurant.
- WINNER of Womens Institute Section Jubilee Fountain By the side of the main road at Malvern Wells, at its junction with Grundys Lane & what was St.Peters Church
- THE RUNNER UP (= Gt.Malvern Station) Lower Wyche Spout Just a few hundred yards up Old Wyche Road on the common on the right
- Malt House Spring From Evendine Spring you go some distance down Evendine Lane & find it on the right hand verge. Not a generally very well known Spring, until now
- Malvhina A recent addition to Malvern, situated on Belle Vue Island. Designed by local sculptor Rose Garrard
- Old Bottling Works Spring Hidden in a yard near to WH Smiths bookshop on Belle Vue Terrace
- Royal Well Often missed on West Malvern Road. It is on the right going from the Wyche Cutting, opposite the iron railings of a private car park
- St. Ann's Well One of the best loved of all the Malvern Wells. Usually accessed by walking up the '99 steps' from the South end of Belle Vue Terrace
- Stocks Drinking Fountain By the side of North Malvern Road and near the old punishment Stocks, just seen towards the top left of the picture.
- Temperance Drinking Fountain By the side of the common, just above the Malvern Link Railway Station, on the Worcester Road
- Westminster Bank Spout Well hidden unless you are a hill walker. A very attractive Well above Westminster Bank off West Malvern Road.
- Willow Spring Near the Wyche Cutting on the West Side. On the right a few yards down Walwyn Road
- THE WINNER: West Malvern Spout Going up West Malvern Road it's just Past and opposite the Church, next to the Post Office. This display is over 7ft tall and needs to be seen.
